Dr. Skrabenek was arguably one of the finest , physicians and intellectuals to have lived and worked in Ireland. At one time Trinity College hosted a website with his numerous but largely unknown publications available for perusal. Dr. Skrabanek died in 1994 and since then the attempt to eradicate his contribution to medicine in Ireland has been relentless. Skrabanek is not talked about in Irish medicine, Skrabanek has all but been erased from the records of established medicine, quite simply because his truths are not only relevant, but painful and dangerous to the corporatism of Irish medicine.
